Why Create?

Simple: it makes me happy.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved to create. Everything from sewing dresses to writing poetry. The ability to be creative, and make things new or beautiful or efficient fills my soul and gives me the motivation to keep going. Trying new projects, new forms of art and innovation are where learning and growth tend to happen, and tend to flourish.

The other thing about creativity - it’s not a competition. There’s failure in learning, but it’s what makes you better the next time around. Diving into change and trying new things leads to some successes, but also failures. It’s with those experiences that growth happens, and that’s where the magic is really made.

“You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.”
